미군 의료 혜택

복무 중인 미군과 미군 가족들은 Tricare의 혜택을 받을 수 있다.
군인의 지위와 위치에 따라 선택할 수 있는 트라이케어 프로그램들이 몇 가지가 있다.

Active Duty Members

복무 중인 미군은 duty station에 따라 Tricare Prime plans에 등록해야 한다.
1. Tricare Prime
TRICARE Select보다 자기 비용 부담(out-of-pocket costs)가 적지만
대신에 providers를 선택할 자유도 적다.

2. Tricare Prime Remote
가장 가까운 Military Treatment Facility로부터
50마일이나 운전으로 1시간 이상 떨어져 있는 곳에 살아야 한다.

3. Tricare Prime Overseas
active duty members, activated reserve & guard members,
and their command sponsored dependents에게 제공된다.

4. Tricare Prime Remote Overseas

※ 미군 가족들도 모두 등록할 수 있다.

Dependents of Active Duty Members

1. Tricare select
가장 융통성 있음.(아무 의사한테나 가도 됨.)
진료때마다 지불(fee-for-service option)해야 한다.

2. Tricare Young Adult
결혼은 안했지만 나이가 성인인 자녀를 위한 옵션

Pharmacy Benefits

Tricare Pharmacy Program: 필요한 약에 대한 처방전을 줌.

Vision Benefits

제한된 vision benefits를 줌.
의학적으로 필수적인 vision benefits는 Tricare plans로 가능함.
대부분의 미군 가족들과 은퇴자들은 FEDVIP program을 통해 vision insurance를 받을 수 있음.
